60 Chefs Get Together To Create A French Meal

In 2010, French get a rare coking honor, and then in  November 16, French Gastronomic Meal was included in UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. And  Le Dîner des Grands Chefs will take place at the Château de Versailles on April 6, 2011. 

A total of 650 lucky guests will enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience. The once-in-a-lifetime meal will take place in the Gallery of Battles, after a visit to the Hall of Mirrors and the exhibition "Thrones in Majesty" in the heart of the Royal Apartments.

The meal will be accompanied by vintage wine and champagne. The event is being staged in partnership with Moët Hennessy and orchestrated by 60 Relais & Chateaux Grands Chefs from all over the world.  The menu is a safe bet that extraordinary won't even begun to cover it. Proceeds of the evening will be donated to the French Heritage and Gastronomy Mission (MFPCA) chaired by Jean-Robert Pitte, for the creation of the Cité de la Gastronomie.
